華美なデザインは好まず、シンプルながらもディテールとシルエット、デザイン性と着心地の良さを重視し、都会的で清潔感のある服を提案しています。
デザイナー橋本淳氏はセレクトショップのバイヤーを経て、
イタリアの「CDIEM(カルペディエム)」にてデザイナー、マウリツィオ アルティエリ氏を支持し営業/企画/生産に携わる中、服作りを学び、帰国後「wjk」を設立しました。
その後2009年A/Wから自身の名前でブランドを立ち上げ現在に至ります。
イタリアで培った美意識を、日本人の「粋」の精神に基づく細やかな仕事により服を表現する。
余分な装飾を取り省き、形貌と機能性に意匠的関心を持たせ、服そのものの美しさによって、外装だけでなく、本人の「実用的な美意識」を引き出すことを目的としています。
